“…I would like to thank you for the work you put in on my case and for putting me in the position to be able to get the not guilty verdict yesterday. It was something of a shock that it all came to a halt so quickly, and so unexpected that I was a bit stunned by it all at the time. I was a bit annoyed that Mr Dunn had been able to tell the court his side of the case before proceedings were stopped without hearing our view of the truth if the matter, as that will linger on in his mind, but taking a realistic view it was better that we got the outcome we wanted, however it was achieved. My only concern now is that he will continue his insurance claim against me, but I am writing to the insurers today to inform them of the outcome and hopefully we’ll hear no more about it.”
