About Glasgow

Glasgow is the largest city in Scotland and the city in which I founded Dominic Sellar & Co.

Over 150,000 people were charged with a motoring offence in and around Glasgow last year. Many simply opted to accept the verdict of the police rather than fight for a fair outcome. However, some requested my help and I stood by their side, challenged their charges and achieved a just outcome for their case.

Nearest Courts

Glasgow Sheriff Court
Glasgow High Court

Glasgow Sheriff Court

Glasgow Sheriff Court sits on the southern bank of the Clyde on Carlton Place. The Sheriff Court building also houses the Justice of the Peace Court. The Sheriff Court will deal with the vast majority of cases, unless they are serious enough to be heard by the High Court in the first instance. Cases including dangerous driving, drink driving and speeding may be heard here. Summary cases are heard in the Justice of the Peace Court by a justice of the peace, who sits alone or on a bench of three.

Glasgow High Court

The Glasgow High Court of Judiciary is situated in the Saltmarket, facing the McLennan Arch. The High Court exclusively deals with major crimes. Unless your case is of particular public interest or is very serious, you will not need to attend the High Court. If your case is being heard at the High Court, it is imperative you contact us as soon as possible.
